As a member of Ascension Alliance, I will uphold our values of Duty, Loyalty, Honor, Respect, Trust, Communication, and Pride, and I will expect the same from my fellow members.

Duty
There are certain basic responsibilities of membership.

All members must read and abide by our Code of Honor and Code of Conduct. In addition, it is expected that you will honor your commitments, lend support to your guild mates, and attend guild meetings and events whenever possible.

Above all else, it is your duty to have fun and do your best to make sure others have fun too!

Loyalty
All members of this guild are expected to show loyalty to Ascension Alliance and its members.

A guild that is based upon loyalty provides each of its members support and long term security, and so we are looking for people who wish to remain in Ascension Alliance through level 65 and beyond. It is our goal to never lose a member to another guild.

We expect our members will stay with us because the reward for doing so will be great. In Ascension Alliance, each member is valued as a person and a player. By establishing permanent relationships, we achieve a fellowship and an advancement of skills that goes beyond casual grouping, giving us the motivation and ability to achieve the highest goals of the game.

Honor
Every member of Ascension Alliance is expected to behave ethically.

Members of Ascension Alliance must not engage in any activity that may warrant a warning, suspension, or account banning from Verant/Sony.

Members shall not purposely lie, kill, steal, or otherwise harm a member or non-member. This includes but is not limited to unfair trade practices, training, kill stealing, ninja looting, or deliberately withholding information with the intent to deceive.

Respect
Each member of Ascension Alliance shares the responsibility of upholding our reputation by being courteous and respectful to other players, members and non-members alike.

Positive words and actions will affect not only your reputation as an individual but will also have a lasting impact on each of our members and our reputation as a guild.

Assist others by providing guidance or services when reasonable.

Refrain from arguments and questionable conversations in public channels. This includes the /ooc, /shout, /auction, /say, /gu, and public chat channels.

If you observe another member engaged in behavior that may negatively impact the guild's reputation, say "please stop". When a member says, "please stop", we should respect the request and stop the behavior immediately. Any further discussion should be held in private.

Trust
Members must not discuss or disclose any confidential guild information to those outside of the guild at any time.

Members of Ascension Alliance are entrusted with confidential guild information. This may include information about guild policies, procedures, and events, as well as confidential member information such as real-life status or contact information. This information should never be shared with non-members.

Please direct any requests for such confidential guild information to a member of The Council.

Players requesting general information about our guild should be referred to our web site.

Communication
Members are strongly urged to participate in the forums on our web site.

Ascension Alliance values the input of all our members and we want to encourage you to express your ideas, share useful information and links, and offer your suggestions.

In addition, it is important that you take the time to visit our Forums on a regular basis so that you can read the announcements, sign up for raids, review new applicants, and maintain your character information.

Pride
Members of the guild must display the Guild Name at all times.

Your guild tag is an outward symbol of your pride in Ascension Alliance and your loyalty to its members.

If you wish to play anonymously you may do so by using the /role-play command.

If at any time you are asked by a member of The Council to take off /role, please comply.

If a member of The Council or the leader of a particular raid requests that all members use /anon, please comply. This is especially important if we are in competition for a race mob.

This document may be revised at any time by a majority decision of The Council.
